Tastes of the Basque Country: Madrid to San Sebastián, 7 nights

Day 1 - Arrive at Madrid Airport where a private driver will be waiting for you in a superior vehicle to take you to your 5* Madrid hotel. For the afternoon, enjoy a tapas food & wine walking tour (3hrs).

Day 2 - Private tour of renowned Prado Museum, with a specialist guide (90 mins). For dinner, enjoy a high-end Flamenco show at Madrid´s finest establishment.

Day 3 - Private transfer to Rioja wine region (3.5hrs). Check in at a 5* winery hotel and enjoy a premium tour and wine tasting.

Day 4 - Explore the Rioja region on a private day tour, visiting three wineries: one classic and two boutique. Taste an authentic Riojan lunch (8hrs).

Day 5 - Private transfer to San Sebastián (2hrs). Check in at your 5* hotel. For the evening, enjoy a private walking tour of the historic centre, with gourmet pintxos & wine (3hrs).

Day 6 - Option to take a day trip to France! Visit the French gourmet food markets of Biarritz. Or take a mellow hike into the Basque highlands and stop at a cheese making farm for tour and tasting.

Day 7 - Private boat tour along the stunning San Sebastián coast, with lunch at a beautiful coastal restaurant (5hrs).

Day 8 - First class high speed rail back to Madrid, ready for departure.
