Day 1 - 4 | Lisbon Stay

Choose between:

Afternoon: Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Time Out Market and taste Lisbon's best local flavours, before the little ones enjoy some playtime at a nearby playground.

Day 2 - Explore the Ocean & Discover Lisbon by Tuk Tuk

Begin the day with a visit to Lisbon’s wonderful Oceanário, one of Europe’s most impressive aquariums and a fantastic experience for younger travellers. In the afternoon, continue the adventure with a fun tuk tuk scavenger hunt through Lisbon. This playful city tour turns sightseeing into a game, encouraging children to look out for tiles, viewpoints, trams, fountains and more!

Day 3 - A Creative Day in Lisbon

This morning, enjoy some quality family time with a fun, hands-on workshop of your choice, creating lasting memories together while discovering a unique Portuguese tradition.

Mosaic Sardine Workshop or Pastel de Nata Baking Workshop
Create your own colourful Lisbon keepsake in a fun, hands-on mosaic sardine workshop. Guided by a local artist, parents and children decorate Portugal's iconic sardine using colourful tiles, patterns and plenty of imagination.

Or, if you simply can't get enough of Portugal's famous custard tarts, join an extended baking workshop where you'll master the traditional techniques behind this beloved Portuguese delicacy. A delicious experience for budding young bakers and adults alike.

Sunset Sailing on the Tagus River
End the day aboard a private sailing boat as Lisbon glows in the golden evening light. Cruise gently along the Tagus River, passing Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries and beneath the iconic 25 de Abril Bridge. With plenty of space to relax, enjoy refreshments and watch the sunset over the city, it's the perfect way to finish another unforgettable family adventure.

Day 4 - Sintra: A Fairytale Kingdom

Hidden amongst misty forests and soaring mountain peaks, Sintra feels like stepping into a real-life fairytale. Vibrant palaces, mysterious tunnels, ancient castles and enchanting gardens spark children's imaginations, while parents fall in love with one of Portugal's most magical UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Around every corner, there's another story waiting to be discovered.

Day 5 - Scenic Transfer to the Alentejo

Leave Lisbon behind and travel south into the peaceful landscapes of the Alentejo, where rolling plains, cork trees, vineyards and whitewashed villages create a slower, sun-soaked rhythm. Your journey ends at São Lourenço do Barrocal, a beautifully restored estate set amongst ancient olive groves and open countryside.

This afternoon, settle into your new surroundings with a gentle family experience on the estate. Meet the resident donkeys and horses before enjoying a relaxed ride through the grounds, taking in the wide-open views, fresh country air and quiet beauty of rural Portugal. It’s a wonderful way for children to connect with nature and for the whole family to ease into the calm pace of the Alentejo.

Day 6 - Nature, Creativity & Stars

Start the morning with a delicious family cookie-making workshop, where children and adults bake, decorate and, of course, sample their freshly made treats together. Later, discover the estate's rich birdlife during a fascinating bird box workshop with a local nature expert. Learn about the native species that call the Alentejo home before building your own wooden bird box to help protect these beautiful birds.

As night falls, the adventure continues beneath one of Europe's clearest skies. After dinner, join a guided stargazing experience, where an expert introduces the constellations, planets and the Milky Way through powerful telescopes.

Day 7 - Scenic Transfer to the Algarve

Today, journey south through Portugal's ever-changing landscapes as you leave the rolling plains of the Alentejo behind and make your way to the spectacular Algarve.

Day 10  Benagil Caves Boat Adventure
